3. Booking, Estimates, & Work Authorization

• Online requests are non-binding until reviewed and confirmed.

• Pricing may be adjusted after an on-site evaluation.

• Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Approval of an estimate or scheduled visit constitutes authorization to begin work.

4. Communication Consent (SMS, Phone, and Email)

By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive service-related communications from Help With Handywork, including:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders

• Arrival updates

• Estimate and invoice links

• Requests for additional information or photos

• General service-related follow-ups

These messages may be sent manually or via automated tools.

SMS Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive SMS messages:

• Message frequency varies by project activity

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated on your invoice.

• Late payments may incur fees.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or schedule changes. Late cancellations may be subject to a service fee.

7. Limitation of Liability

We aim to provide high-quality workmanship. However, Help With Handywork is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

8. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide, such as:

• Details related to your service request

• Photos you send us

• Communication history (texts, emails, calls)

• Invoice and payment information

This information is used to:

• Schedule and complete services

• Send confirmations and updates

9. SMS Data Protection (A2P Compliance)

This section contains the exact clause required by US carriers.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

This means your opt-in/opt-out status is only used for SMS delivery and compliance—not shared, sold, or used for marketing.
